Dreams and leg cramp :(

Had my first leg cramp at 5am this morning These days due to the playing of babyplus for bb at 5.45am (1hr 2x a day, so I set timing at 1hr before my usual wakeup time), sometimes I wake up earlier… Wanted to check my sleeping position too since sleeping on my left is supposedly the best for bb.

But sometimes I wake up finding myself sleeping on my back (apparently bb will have not enough oxygen and will strain my back) or on my right side, haha. Then I’ve gotta consciously turn to my left before snoozing again.

So this morning I was glad that I’m still sleeping on my left (propping a pillow behind helps) but shucks, when I just stretched my leg abit I felt intense cramp on my right leg Gotta soothe it for a while before it feels ok but now as I walk I’m limping abit.

Strange dreams do occur and very funnily, i dreamt that I saw someone feeding a baby and at the same time, the bb is pooing. Haha! No idea what this means.

So glad its Thursday already!

Oh my, feeling the strain on my back the whole of today even though I’ve been sitting down in office mostly. Plus I have this tight feeling on my chest. I guess its the time when the baby grows big and the uterus expands, the intestines and all make way for it. Saw the visualization in the prenatal class before.

No wonder they say 2nd trimester is the honeymoon and should enjoy while it lasts. I really did! Just afraid that the nauseous act may come back as it does to some preggers in 3rd trimester. It is happening to my colleague’s wife who is 1 month earlier than me. Dread to think about it.

On the other hand, have been feeling a lot of bb’s movement now. Stomping his feet or doing standups, as well as nudging me. Don’t know what is that for, haha. But most importantly he is active and healthy.

I’ve just downloaded WordPress app on my hp so I will be updating more often, hehe.

On my way to work in a bus right now! Feeling the inertia to work after 12 days of rest but at least it is a Tuesday today.

In my 3rd trimester officially so I’m expecting myself to be tired easily and have swollen feet (edema) now and then. Gotta brace myself for the little one!

Was counting my days of leave yesterday with Vince and he was saying I just need to go through the 1st quarter of the year and adding the fact that I shall accumulate my leave till the end of the year, that could jolly well mean that it’s another 1 month off on top of my 4 months maternity leave… Looking forward to that! As to what will happen to my work plans I have in mind, I leave it to fate to decide; I don’t have all the brains to think about uncertainties!

On another note, CNY is getting closer by the day! Other than the typical happy, jumpy songs u listen whenever you are, my parents, elder sis and I went to Chinatown to take a look at the decorations on sale! My parents got us both a pair of red crackers to hang at our gate outside, pic will be in if possible! Trying to immerse myself into the CNY atmosphere though this year I shall not be eating too much goodies (gotta control my food intake) and no new, nice cheongsums for myself to wear like last year.

OMG, to my horror I realised the last public post on this blog was exactly one year ago. Geez, to think that I’d told myself to at least have 1 posting per month minimally ever since I’d started work years back cos’I knew the posts were dwindling. Was it because work life wasn’t as interesting as school days. or was it because I have changed, or the environment had became so boring that I found nothing worthy to blog about?

Partly cos’ I’m no star blogger and there’s not much readership to start with that I should keep exploring interesting topics to keep everyone entertained; also mainly cos’ I don’t think anyone is interested to read about me complaining about my boring, mundane life or the evil bosses that lurk everywhere (read: problems that everyone face so it ain’t unique). Also, I face computers during my day of work and I dread to see it again when I reach home after work. Zzzzz

Ok, but perhaps for my own self-interest that I should try to keep the blogging passion alive again. Those who blog and wish for readership are somewhat exhibitionist to a certain extent we all want people to find our posts interesting / informative / helpful / funny ete, no? I’m definitely not someone with superb writing skills and owing to the fact that I need some privacy still, many of the posts are private for my own viewing pleasure only (see what I mean, I don’t know what this paragraph is for by the way, lol).

And so, the typical last blog post of the year is to wish everyone a joyous and enjoyable year ahead! Haha. For the uninitiated, V & I are going to start our new phrase of life very soon, probably in about 3 months’ time? Excited but apprehensive at the same time about the unknown. More on that again.
